Kathmandu, 27 February: UML ministers are going to tender their resignation today following the Party Secretariat’s decision this morning.
The UML Party Secretariat meeting held this morning decided to quit the government and take back the party’s support to the government led by Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is going to submit resignation of the UML ministers along with the party’s decision to the PM today.
Earlier, UML had decided to maintain a “wait and see” policy and not to quit the government until the presidential election.
When the PM humiliatingly cancelled the Geneva visit of the Foreign Minister from the UML in the last hours, the UML decided to quit the government.
