Kathmandu, 27 February: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s visit to Doha of Qatar has been cancelled in view of the elections to the President and Vice-President in the country as well as PM’s busy schedule. He was scheduled to leave for Doha, Qatar on March 3 to participate in the Fifth Conference of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
Meanwhile, Dahal has barred Minister for Foreign Affairs from attending UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. Bimala Rai was directed to drop her travel at the eleventh hour yesterday. She was about to fly to Switzerland on Sunday evening.
