Kathmandu, 20 February: Tribhuvan International Airport’s immigration server is down, and international flights have been affected stranding hundreds of passengers.
Entry permit and departure permit processing has been affected since few hours after the immigration server went down. Since all the immigration systems are computerized, no processing can be carried when the server goes down. Due to this, the flights have been delayed.
The spokesperson of the airport, Teknath Sitaula, said that if there is a problem for a long time, parking may also be a problem that may risk in landing of aircraft.
