Nepal defeats Namibia in ICC World Cup Cricket League

Kathmandu, 19 February:  Nepal has registered third consecutive victory against Namibia in a triangular one-day series under the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

Nepal beat Namibia by three wickets in the match played at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket ground. It may be noted that Nepal had defeated Namibia in the first and Scotland in the second match of the tournament. Nepal overcame the 275-run target given by Namibia in 47.3 overs at the loss of seven wickets. Batsman Ashif Sheikh hammered the highest 81 runs iff 98 balls to secure Nepal’s win. He stroke eight fours and two sixes.
