Kathmandu, 16 February: Nepali Congress MP Chandra Bhandari, who is also suffering from a burn injury, is bereaved of his mother today. MP Bhandari and his mother Harikala were injured in a cooking gas cylinder explosion Wednesday night.
Both injured were rushed to the Nepal Cleft and Burn Center in Kirtipur for treatment.
MP Bhandari is also critically injured and the Hospital has been referred to take him to Mumbai, India, for further treatment.
The two were injured in the cooking gas explosion on Wednesday night in their residence in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.
