Kathmandu, 14 February: US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Afrin Akhtar paid a courtesy call to Chief of Army Staff Gen Prabhuram Sharma today at the Nepal Army headquarters in Bhadrakali. They discussed the US military assistance during the meeting.
The Public Relations and Information Directorate of the Nepal Army said that both officials discussed bilateral interests and mutual relations. The Nepali Army believes that this kind of meeting will help to promote the relationship between the two countries more harmonious and strong.
