A nation dominated by brokers, middlemen and criminals

BABBLES

By Babbler

Nepal, under the present “loktantra” is under a strong grip of those brokers, middlemen and criminals. We talk about the country’s progress, prosperity and self-reliant economy but our political leaders are intended to exploit the nation from all sides. The leaders are serving foreigners’ interests in fulfilling their pity interests. The nation has become an empty vessel, still, those corrupt leaders are exploiting the nation.

Farmers in Chitwan launched an agitation by throwing vegetables produced by them on roads when their vegetables didn’t get even the product price as the government didn’t stop imports of Indian vegetables.

The Indian farmers get different types of subsidies and facilities from the government, The Nepali farmers will have to struggle even to get fertilizer. In such an adverse situation, Nepali farmers are not going to get the proper price for their agricultural products. This is the reason for being agitated for the local farmers.

Nepal’s economy has already been ruined. The economy is the backbone of a nation. But those leaders are attempting to collapse the national economy in their interests.

Looking after the entire situation of the country, it seems, the country is solely dominated by those foreign brokers, middlemen and criminals.

Rabi Lamichhane launches a war against media

Rabi Lamichhane, former media man and now the chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has launched a war against media persons and owners of some media houses. Lamichhane said that he is not an Abhamanu who was unable to break the enemy’s ambush. He made clear that he knows how to break the ambush.

Indeed, Lamichhane told us many things and we were also informed about Kaailash Sirohiya. We were even informed about purchasing a big portion of land in Budhanilkantha and the construction of a lavish palace. Sure, Sirohiya, a carpet businessman, didn’t earn money from the sales of the Kantipur newspaper, which is a loss. Sure, this property he has gained from the “golden shares” that he has received. We don’t talk without evidence and we are unable to talk about those 12 brothers. Let time tell the story.

Testing time for Rabi Lamichhane

Until now, this Babbler is unaware of the principle or ideology of the Rastriya Swatantra Party. When Lamichhane condemned those media persons receiving a hefty fund from George Soros’ Open Society, it makes clear that he is not close to the Open Society. If Lamichhane is solely standing on his own foot, he may get the support of the patriotic force but he or his party should laud the voice against the present foreign imposed political system.

QUOTES OF THE WEEK

  • Not that BP’s granddaughter Manisha Koirala has not read.

Lokraj Baral Sir, I suggest you read BP’s political ideology, “Raja, Rashtriyata Ra Politics” in a non-prejudices and impartial manner rather than prescribing suggestions to others.

Lokesh Dhakal

  • India’s first priority is the citizenship bill. For that, New Delhi is trying hard to get the President and Home Ministry for the Nepali Congress. The national consensus is just a footnote.

Bishwasingh Mewahang

  • It is Shushila Karki who gave open access to European INGOs in court-like institutions. Her husband Durga Subedi is a criminal who hijacked a plane in the 30s in the plan of RAW. Journalists like dogs suffering from rabies are misleading their readers by making Karki a great figure.

Arjun Gyawali

  • The policy of serving the Indian interests cannot be good for Nepal

Ratna Sansar Shrestha

  • Nepal is a ‘captured state’ – both internally and externally – and ‘hijacked’ policies have few choices left for the common people.

Chandra D. Bhatta

  • The system should be correct to end corruption and other anomalies. Therefore, the present system should be changed to end these anomalies.

Niranjan Thapa

  • The Nepali Congress has put another dark stain on its image by putting forward Krishna Prasad Sitaula, who is known as the Indian broker, as the President’s candidate.

Sanskriti Gurung

  •  At the end of 2010, it is said that the ‘Arab Revolution’ started with the incident of a 26-year-old youth setting himself on fire in Tunisia. The then-ruler and his followers thought that only one person had died. Later it led to unimaginable consequences.

Gani Ansarii

  • Political leaders should send their kids to government schools and should receive medical treatment from the government hospital.
