Kathmandu, 5 February: Rashtriya Swatantra Party has decided to leave the government. A joint meeting of central members and lawmakers has decided to leave the government.
In the press conference held after the meeting, party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane said that the meeting has decided to recall the ministers from the party by maintaining the support given to Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government. He said that the ministers will submit their resignations to the Prime Minister today itself.
As Dahal refused to re-appoint Lamichhane as Home Minister, who became a non-MP after he was dismissed by the court in the citizenship case, he decided to quit the government out of ire.
