Kathmandu, 2 February: Member of Parliament Arun Kumar Chaudhary of Nagarik Unmukti Party has been arrested. MP Chaudhary, who had been absconding since long was arrested this afternoon from Kohalpur of Banke, according to Nepal Police Headquarters.
It may be noted that Chaudhary was elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kailali constituency No. 2. He will be presented before the Dhangadhi District Court on Friday, the police said. The Kailali District Court had sentenced three people including Chaudhary to 6 months in jail in a case of arson.
