Kathmandu, 31 January: Foreign Minister Dr Bimala Rai Poudel is making her first leg to Sri Lanka after she assumed office.
Poudel is leaving for Colombo on Thursday to attend a special ceremony for observing the 75th independence day of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka was liberated from the British colony 75 years ago.
The cabinet of ministers’ meeting on Monday has sanctioned her visit.
