Kathmandu, 30 January: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda this morning.
Of late, public criticism against Mayor Shah is on the rise. There was a protest programme against him in Kathmandu on Sunday. Balen is accused of trying to displace poor people and destroying the heritage of Kathmandu.
Meanwhile, during the meeting, PM Dahal wished to extend support to Balen in his efforts for making beautiful and heritage-friendly Kathmandu.
