Kathmandu, 29 January: Two Chinese companies have been shortlisted for construction of the 100 MW Tamakoshi-5 Hydropower Project. Sino Hydro Corporation Limited and China Gezhouba Group Corporation have been shortlisted, according to Tamakoshi-5 Hydropower Project.
It may be worth mentioning that Sino Hydro Corporation Limited constructed the civil works of the 456 MW Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project. The Chinese state-owned hydropower engineering and construction company has also been awarded to construct a power house of 140 MW Tanahu Project.
