Kathmandu, 27 January: The final hearing on the writ petitions challenging Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane’s legitimacy as a member of House of Representatives has concluded. The Constitutional Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki and Justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada, Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattarai and Anil Kumar Sinha concluded the hearing.
Sources at the Supreme Court (SC) state that a kind of ruling will be issued today since all the documents and details have been presented before the court. The source said,”Because all the justices of the constitutional bench are involved in the discussion, something will come. Even if it is not detailed, the decision with the brief order and judgment will be made public.”
