Kathmandu, 27 January: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA)has formed a committee to probe the issues raised in social networking site by Prem Prasad Acharya of Ilam district, who self-immolated in Kathmandu.
A six-member committee has been formed under the leadership of joint-secretary Narayan Prasad Risal. The committee includes under-secretaries from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Superintendent of Nepal Police and Assistant Investigation Director of National Investigation Department, the Home Minister’s Secretariat said. Acharya had self-immolated in Kathmandu on Tuesday and died while receiving treatment on Wednesday morning.
