Five NAC pilots to face music

Kathmandu, 24 January: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has directed the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to suspend its five pilots for disobeying the instructions of the air traffic controller (ATC) of Hong Kong International Airport, Special Administrative Region of China, while landing.

The NAC pilots Uddhab Ghimire, Rajesh Kushwaha and Nar Bahadur Bishwakarma did not follow the instructions of the ATC while landing an aircraft at the Hong  Kong Airport. It is also directed to suspend pilots Prashanna Rana and YP Juwarchan for not following the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) while taking off from Kathmandu to Japan.
