Indira Rana Magar elected deputy speaker of parliament

Kathmandu, 21 January: Indira Ranamagar had been elected deputy speaker of the House of Representatives. 

Ranamagar of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, the candidate from the ruling alliance, bagged 166 votes against NC candidate Mukta Yadav received 97 votes. One vote was cast against both candidates. Total of 264 votes was cast in today’s election.
