Kathmandu, 20 January: The Parliament Secretariat has published the election schedule for the election of the deputy speaker.
According to the schedule, today is set for the nomination of candidature and the election is going to be held on 21 January.
Meanwhile, from the ruling alliance, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has selected Sobita Gautam as the candidate for the post of deputy speaker. Gautam was elected MP from Kathmandu electoral constituency No 2 in the 20 November election.
