Kathmandu, 17 January: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expanded the cabinet. On Dahal’s recommendation, President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office after appointing the ministers.
Twelve ministers and 3 state ministers took oath, including Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Rajendra Lyngden. The CPN-UML has 8, Maoist Center 5 ministers including the Prime Minister, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have 3 ministries each and Janmaat has taken one ministry. Maoist, RSP and RPP has one state minister each.
