Kathmandu, 16 January: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has reached Balkot in Bhaktapur to meet UML chair KP Sharma Oli to discuss matters such as the completion of the Council of Ministers and selection of the candidate for the post of the Speaker.
“The Prime Minister arrived in Balkota some time ago. A one-on-one meeting is going on between them”, a member of Oli’s secretariat said.
“The Prime Minister has a program to have lunch in Balkot today”, he informed.
If the two leaders agree on the share, the cabinet will get completed shape. That apart, there is increasing interest among the power partner parties in matters such as Speaker, Deputy Speaker and President and Vice President. After the Nepali Congress gave a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Prachanda, the CPN-UML has become suspicious of the role of Prachanda.
