Yeti Air-owned aircraft crashes in Pokhara

Kathmandu, 15 January: An Yeti Air-owned ATR 72 aircraft with call sign 9N-ANC bound to Pokhara from Kathmandu with 68 passengers and 4 crew members onboard crashed at near the Pokhara Regional International Airport while preparing for landing. 

Captain Kamal KC commanded the flight.

The ill-fated aircraft’s remains were located between the new and old airports.

Initial reports confirm that 25 dead bodies have been recovered from the accident site.
