
Kathmandu, 15 January: Pakistan extended the deepest condolences to the Nepali government on Sunday over the loss of lives in a plane crash in central Nepal, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
“The government and people of Pakistan offer their deepest condolences over the loss of precious lives in the air crash in Pokhara, Nepal,” the ministry said in a statement.
“We are saddened at this tragic accident and our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims,” the Foreign Ministry statement said, adding that Pakistan stands with the people of Nepal in their hour of grief.
A total of 68 dead bodies have been recovered after a local passenger plane with 72 people onboard crashed in the Pokhara this morning.
