Kathmandu, 14 January: Former Deputy General Secretary of CPN-UML Ghanashyam Bhusal has joined the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist), according to Jaganath Khatiwada, Spokersperson of CPN (US). Bhusal had been vocal critic of KP Oli since long and he parted with after he was not given ticket for November 20 elections.
It may be noted that Bhusal contested the election as an independent candidate for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Rupandehi-1, was defeated.
