Kathmandu, 7 January: After the merger between Global IME Bank Limited and Bank of Kathmandu, integrated operation will be started from January 9 under the name of Global IME Bank Limited.
Earlier, a special resolution to merge Global IME Bank Limited and Bank of Kathmandu Limited was passed by the general meeting of both the banks, and the final approval has been received from Nepal Rastra Bank.
“All banking services of Global IME Bank Limited will be closed on Saturday and Sunday for data migration to start integrated financial transactions after the merger of banks,” said the bank in a press release on Friday.
