Had NC president Deuba offered PM’s post to RPP’s Rajendra Lingden?

Kathmandu, 6 January: Some Online portals had reported that Nepali Congress has offered a Chief Minister of the Bagmati Province along with the Prime Minister to the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RDP) to break the power coalition, however, both concerned parties have declined the report.

Quoting RPP’s general secretary Bhuwan Pathak, reports appeared in some Online portals, and later, NC and RPP leaders denied such a report.

It was reported that Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba sent the proposal to RPP Chairman Lingden through a close person. An informal discussion was also held on the matter in the meeting of the RPP parliamentary party held on Thursday, it was reported.
