Ramesh Lekhak has been appointed the Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress.

Party President and parliamentary leader Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed him to the post as per the NC parliamentary party’s statute, according to a statement issued NC parliamentary party leader’s private secretary Keshab Raj Joshi on Tuesday.

Lekhak, a leader loyal to party president Deuba was elected to the House of Representatives fromKanchanpur-3.
