Kathmandu, 3 December: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the government officials not to meet with any foreign and diplomatic mission officials without the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prime Minister Dahal, while giving instructions the secretaries of all ministries on Tuesday, mentioned that such meetings can only be held with the knowledge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also instructed to forulate a diplomatic code of conduct related to such meetings.
Prime Minister Dahal said, “The government will maintain balanced and cordial relations with all countries including the neighbours based on the principle of non-alignment.” He instructed all public servants not to leave work in the office and attend unnecessary meetings, conferences, seminars, trainings.
