PM Dahal to seek the vote of confidence on 10 January

Kathmandu, 2 January: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has asked the Federal Parliament Secretariat for managing the election of the new PM as he is seeking a vote of confidence on 10 January. Prachanda has sent a letter to the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Bharatraj Gautam, asking him to arrange for the vote of confidence on 10 January.

With the support of 169 MPs, Prachanda submitted his claim to the Prime Ministership to President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Prime Minister Prachanda has already taken the oath of office from the President. He should show a vote of confidence within 30 days of his appointment as the PM.
