Kathmandu, 25 December: The ego of two top leaders Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpakamal Dahal has disturbed the formation of the new government. NC president Deuba wants the prime minister’s post for himself and also the post of the president for the Nepali Congress. Prachanda, chair of the Maoist Center also wants the prime minister’s post for himself.
There is no dispute between the two leaders for sharing the prime minister’s post by three leaders – Deuba, Prachanda and Madhav Nepal, chair of the Unified Socialist – for two years each by Deuba and Prachanda and one year by Madhav Nepal. The dispute is about who to become the prime minister for the first term.
As we have experienced the performance of all three leaders as the prime minister, the sky is not going to fall during their tenure as PM. They all have proved to be failed and incapable. But they are unable to give up the ego, which has delayed the formation of the government.
Meanwhile, Maoist supremo Prachanda has indicated towards the foreign powers due to which he and his party are being cornered.
