RPP gears up for electoral fray

The Rashtriya Prajantra party (RPP), undeterred by the discordant noises from and protests of the six-party  left combine against the  King’s July 11 decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, has come out loud and clear in favor of the snap polls scheduled for November 13 also announced on July 11 by the place.

As the first political party to take the stand that “mid-term” elections were the only way out of the political crisis created by levels of the squabbles at the apex levels of the Nepali Congress, on the one hand, and, on the other, by a total breakdown in the once sweet Left-congress relations, the RPP has every reason to feel vindicated.
