Kathmandu, 18 December: Nepali Congress (NC)and CPN Maoist Centre (MC) are holding their respective party’s meeting to discuss the formation of a new government and the selection of the leader of the parliamentary party.
The NC has called a meeting of its central performance committee at the party central office, Sanepa, at 3 pm while a meeting of the office bearers of the MC is taking place at the party’s central office in Parisdanda,r, at 2 pm today.
NC will dwell upon selection of parliamentary party leader as Gagan Kumar Thapa, Ram Chandara Poudel, Shekhar Koirala, among others in NC has shown interest in becoming Prime Minister.
The Maoist Center is clear regarding the parliamentary party leader and Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘ is being elected its leader unanimously.
