Kathmandu, 11 December: The Parliament Secretariat has stated that it will respond to questions asked by the full court meeting of the Supreme Court (SC) regarding the letter given to the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana and the interim order at the same time.
Bharatraj Gautam, Secretary General of the Parliament Secretariat, wrote a letter to the SC this afternoon and furnished this information. After Secretary General Gautam sent a letter on Wednesday stating that Rana’s impeachment motion at the House of Representative was ineffective, the full court meeting of the SC wrote a letter to the Parliament Secretariat seeking the legal basis of the letter.
