Kathmandu, 8 December: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said that electricity produced in the country should be consumed by the domestic market rather than exporting it.
Sharma said that economic prosperity can be achieved by consuming domestically produced electricity.
Addressing the Fin Electro Tech 2022 Exhibition today, Sharma asked to increase the consumption of electricity for reducing the trade deficit.
Sharma stressed increasing domestic consumption of electricity rather than exporting it.
