Kathmandu, 6 December: Vote counting of the proportional election is now at the final stage. By today, the final result of the proportional election can be made public by the Election Commission.
Until Tuesday morning, UML has bagged 2814655 votes out of total votes 10478735 casts in the proportional sector, which is 26.86 per cent.
Nepali Congress has bagged 2688218 votes, i.e. 24.70 per cent.
Maoist Center has bagged 1196090, i.e. 11.11 per cent.
Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 1124778 votes, i.e. 10.73 per cent.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party has received 586816 votes, i.e. 5.60 per cent.
Janata Samajwadi Party has received 420954 votes, i.e. 4.02 per cent.
Janamat Party has received 394538 votes, i.e. 3.77 per cent.
Unified Socialist Party has received 296090 votes i.e. 2.88 per cent.
Nagarik Unmukti Party has received 271674 votes, i.e. 2.50 per cent.
Loktantrik Samajwadi Party received 167290 votes, i.e. 1.60 per cent.
Other parties have received below one hundred thousand votes.
Vote counting in Syangja electoral constituency No 2, Bajura and Dolakha is in progress.
Parties receiving less than a 3 per cent vote will fail to recognize as the national party.
