Kathmandu, 4 December: In the last three days, the Unified Socialist Party (US) led by Madhav Nepal has bagged just 1,764 votes reaching total votes 2,94362 votes in the proportional election, which is not enough to cross the threshold of three per cent to get a national party recognition. There left vote counting of a few electoral constituencies. If there will be a miracle in the counting of the remaining votes, then only the party can get national party recognition.
UML has become the largest party which has already bagged 27, 88, 356 votes, whereas, the Nepali Congress has bagged 26, 60246 votes out of counted total 120 thousand 125 votes.
Maoist Center has bagged 11,62,124 votes ensuring the third position in the proportional election.
Rastriya Swatantra Party has bagged 11,24543 votes and Rastriya Prajatanntra Party has bagged 586 thousand 638 votes.
Janamat Party has bagged 394 thousand 523 votes ensuring the party’s recognition as a national party.
There will be a representation of 12 political parties in the House of Representatives but until now, seven parties only have secured the recognition of a national party.
