Kathmandu, 25 November: Gokul Prasad Baskota of CPN (UML) has won the election for a member of parliament from Kavre 2.
Baskota won with a margin of 5 thousand 863 votes against Nepali Congress candidate Shiv Prasad Humagai from the democratic-left alliance.
Baskota has received 45 thousand 345 votes. Humagain has received 39 thousand 482 votes.
