
Deepak Bahadur Singh of RPP has been elected in Makwanpur constituency number 1 in the House of Representatives election. He won by surprising the ruling alliance and the UML and RPP Nepal alliance.
Singh was elected with 27,816 votes. His nearest rival Mahalakshmi Upadhyay (Dina) of the Nepali Congress got 25 thousand 434 votes.
Kamal Thapa, President of RPP Nepal, who contested the election with the UML election symbol sun, got 25 thousand 420 votes.
