Kathmandu, 24 November: CPN UML Deputy Secretary General Prithvisubba Gurung has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Lamjung. UML Deputy Secretary General Gurung defeated CPN Maoist Center General Secretary Devprasad Gurung by 3,188 votes. The elected Gurung got 34,969 votes while his opponent Gurung received 31,781 votes. Devprasad Gurung has lost two times including this time when he contested the election for the fourth time. He won twice.
