Nabil Bank gets highest tax payer award for seventh consecutive year

Kathmandu, 24 November: Nabil Bank Limited, Nepal’s leading private sector bank, has been honored by the Internal Revenue Department for posting the highest tax among banks and financial institutions for the fiscal year 2021/22. Chief Executive Officer Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, on Wednesday  received the award amidst a function organized by the department on the occasion of National Tax Day. The bank has paid Rs 18.38 billion in taxes to the state till 2021/22.

Nabil, the first bank in the private sector of Nepal, has so far distributed cash dividends worth Rs 14.45 billion and bonus shares worth Rs 18.8 billion to its investors.
