Kathmandu, 23 November: UML’s secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has won the election for the member of the House of Representatives from the Taplejung electoral constituency defeating Khelprasad Budhachhetri of the Maoist Center.
Bhattarai bagged 21,943 votes whereas Budhachhetri bagged 21,735 votes.
Budhachhetri was the common candidate from the rulling alliance.
