Kathmandu, 23 November: Former prime minister and UML chair KP Sharma Oli won the election for the parliament member leaving far behind his rivals from Jhapa electoral constituency No 5.
Oli bagged 52 thousand 319 votes against his nearest rival NC candidate Khagendra Adhikari, who received 23 thousand 743 votes.
Oli secured his victory with a difference of 28 thousand 743 votes.
