UML’s Maharjan elected in Lalitpur-2

Kathmandu, 22 November: CPN-UML’s Prem Bahadur Maharjan has been elected to the post of member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur constituency -2. Maharjan was elected with a total of 15,025 votes.

Of the total 51,355 valid votes cast, he got 15,025 to be elected. His closest contender was Sudin Shakya of Hamro Nepal Party, who got 8,886 votes while Buddha Ratna Maharjan of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 8,666 votes.
