
Kathmandu, 7 October: The Acting Chairman of the Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has requested to work together with the industrialists and businessmen of Republic of Korea (RoK)for the expansion of investment in Nepal.
Dhakal while meeting a delegation led by Lee Sanggoon, a member of the National Assembly of RoK at the FNCCI today, urged for enhanced investment in tourism, infrastructure, agriculture, energy, industrial development and technology. He said that the economic development model adopted by RoK is important for Nepal that FNCCI wanted to collaborate with private sector in strengthening bilateral relations and bring investment, technology and experience for the promotion of trade and industry of Nepal. Dhakal made it clear that the private sector was constantly with the government to bring foreign investment and accordingly the important laws related to foreign investment have been amended.
