
Kathmandu, 6 October: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the border dispute between Nepal and India would be resolved through diplomatic channel and talks.
Addressing an electoral rally at Bhadrapur of Ajaymeru Rural Municipality-2 in Dadeldhura on Saturday, the NC President said border disputes won’t be resolved from speech rather a meaningful diplomatic initiative was needed. “Land would not be reclaimed from speech. For this, diplomatic initiatives are required and we are doing so,” he said.
Deuba also said that the border issues with China also would be settled through diplomatic means. Saying that he was informed about every district and Nepali land of the far west, he stated that Nepali land would be recovered on the basis of map, border related agreements and facts.
