Kathmandu, 3 November: Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyel received newly appointed envoy of the United States to Nepal Dean Thompson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon. During their conversation, they reviewed various aspects of Nepal-US relations, including the US cooperation in different areas of Nepal’s development.
Also the US envoy met with Chairman of CPN-UML Khadga Oli today. Taking to the twitter, Ambassador Thompson has stated that they discussed the common challenges that the US and Nepal face and how important 75–year of partnership is and will continue to be.
