Speculations made by local newspapers were that there certainly was foreign involvement to bring about the collapse of the then Sher Bahadur Deuba led government. Categorically, some newspapers leaning to the Nepali Congress Party, have hinted that it was Indian interest to fail the government.
After reading such news items in local newspapers, a Western diplomat made his comment that Nepalese media always finds foreign hand in every event that takes place here.
Politicians too, fell better by shifting blame to foreign people, he said.
Furthermore, he informed that no others, except Nepali Congress Party were responsible for the failure of the government.
