Kathmandu, 24 October: The newly appointed American Ambassador to Nepal Dean R Thompson, who came to Kathmandu on October 13 to take over his assignment, has been very active in the meeting high dignitaries right after presenting his letter of credence the President on October 21. He met with the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka the same day and on Sunday he mate Home Minister Balkrishna Khand.

It was a pleasure to meet with Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Deuba today to discuss how we can build on the strong foundation of 75 years of U.S. – Nepal partnership!
