Kathmandu, 20 October: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi , having completed her term in Nepal, has paid a courtesy farewell call to President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.
According to Keshav Prasad Ghimire, the Deputy Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Ambassador Hou thanked the people and government of Nepal including the President for extending every possible support during her stint. The duo discussed the bilateral relations subsisting between the two countries. She laid emphasis on of enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation and reaffirmed Bejing’s firm commitment to continue to work for Nepal’s best interest.
