Kathmandu, 18 October: In the past three months, Rs 27,18,00 has been collected in the donation box at Mayadevi temple in Lumbini. The amount was collected during three months from July to October of the current financial year.
The Lumbini Development Trust counted the amount collected in donation boxes from domestic and foreign tourists for two days on Sunday and Monday. On the first day, Rs10,00081 was counted while on the second day, Rs 16, 36, 000 was counted, according to the Trust.
