Kathmandu, 14 October: The Kathmandu District Court has permitted to extend remand of suspended Captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, Sandeep Lamichhane, for five more days for further investigation into the case. Sandeep is in police custody since October 6 on the charge of raping a minor girl. Police had arrested Sandeep from Tribhuvan International Airport on October 6. The remand of Sandeep has been extended for the second time today in order to forward investigation into the case keeping him in custody.
