Alliance partners set seat-sharing deal

Kathmandu, 8 October: Immediately after Janata Samajbadi Party quit the ruling alliance group, the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party joined the ruling alliance and the parties in the alliance set the seat-sharing deal. 

According to the agreement, NC will get 84 seats, the Maoist Center 48 seats, the Unified Socialist 19 seats Jana Morcha 2 seats and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party 10 seats for the election of the federal parliament. 

Accordingly, the five parties in alliance have set a deal for the election of the provincial councils in seven provinces.
